Mission

The mission of the Elder Services Program is to improve the quality of life for all eligible Tribal Elders, Disabled, and Handicapped, while reflecting the culture and traditions of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.

Elder Services

The Elder Services Program provides services to our Tribal elders and Tribal members who are handicapped/disabled.  Our program is designed to improve the quality of life for our Tribal elders and handicapped/disabled Tribal members.

The Elder Services Program provides the following services to eligible individuals:

  • Transportation
  • Home Visits
  • Advocacy
  • Errands
  • Elder Travel

Elder Criteria:

  • Must be enrolled member of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. If disabled, it is the applicant’s responsibility to provide all necessary documents establishing disability (i.e., Social Security Disability benefits letter, Doctor statement of disability proving short-term or long-term disability.)
